Brennan Johnson, who recently made a £47.5 million move to Tottenham from Nottingham Forest, has mentioned James Maddison, Son Heung-min, and Yves Bissouma as the Spurs players he's excited about playing alongside.
Tottenham signed the 22-year-old forward on deadline day, fulfilling Ange Postecoglou's desire for a top attacking option in the final days of the transfer window.
Johnson is expected to compete for a place on the wing or in the middle with players like Dejan Kulusevski and Manor Solomon, making him a suitable addition to Postecoglou's squad.
In a video shared on Spurs Play, Johnson expressed his anticipation about teaming up with Maddison, Son, and Bissouma. After signing for the club, he visited the Tottenham shop and interacted with fans, where he was asked about his excitement regarding his new teammates.
“Obviously all the attacking players, just the whole team to be honest. I can’t wait to get going," he said, via TBR Football.
“I think James Maddison, watching him the play, the balls he’s been putting in. Bissouma, obviously Son as well. Just all of them to be honest. I’m loving it," he added.
