Brendan Rodgers says, Leicester must play like a big team

Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers says the plain is to make the club play like the big teams. Rodgers said there is still plenty of work to be done but the seeds have been sown for City to adopt a style of play that the top sides in the division possess and brings them success. “What we have been trying to get the team to do is play like a big team,” said Rodgers. “The big teams play with dominance, they play with an intensity and a concentration. This team at Manchester City, how they build a game and how they play, I have worked, whether it is Swansea in the Premier League, or whoever, towards that. So I was really pleased with that aspect of our build-up and how we found the space and gave them problems. “As I say, the areas we will look at and analyse will be the opening period of the second half because I think that is then what invites Vincent Kompany to take his shot, that opening 20 minutes of the half. But congratulations to Man City they won the game and it took an absolute worldy of a strike to score. I am very proud and it gives us a great feeling for the future of this team. They keep developing and keep improving, and if we can add one or two to the profile this summer then we can hope for an exciting year next year.”
