In an interview with French outlet Nice-Matin, Arsenal player Laurent Koscielny has confirmed he wants to leave the club once his contract expires in 2020.
Koscielny’s keen on leaving the Emirates and continue his career elsewhere.
“I’m under contract until June 2020. Afterwards? I’m thinking of moving on, but I do not know where, “ he told Nice-Matin.
“This is not relevant anyway! I am in England, my family too. Then there will inevitablt be a lot of question marks.” He said.
The club captain will miss the start of the season as a result of the injury he suffered in last season’s Europa League semi final defeat against Atletico Madrid, that may be the main reason for him to think about his health and future.
“The bottom line is to have health. I learned to relativise because there are so many more serious things in life,” Koscielny added.
