Gonzalo Castro has put pen to paper and signed a contract extension with Borussia Dortmund, the club press release confirms.
The 29-year-old player’s previous deal was due to expire in 2019, and the sides decided to extend the agreement. With this new deal, Castro will be tied with the club until June 30, 2020.
“I am grateful to the club directors for the confidence in me. I am proud to play for Borussia Dortmund and wear the black and yellow jersey,” Castro said.
Castro has joined the German side in 2015 from Bayer Leverkusen. He featured in 31 matches for Borussia Dortmund this season, scoring 3 goals and providing 7 assists.
