Boris Johnson delivers fresh update that affects Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham fans

UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson has confirmed Premier League clubs will be allowed to have supporters in attendance for the final two games of the season. Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham supporters will be allowed into stadiums later this month for their final home game of the top-flight season. The Gunners welcome Brighton to the Emirates. Chelsea takes on Aston Villa on the final day. Spurs face Leicester City on Sunday, May 23, so their home match against Aston Villa on Wednesday, May 19 will allow a reduced capacity inside the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Outdoor sports venues around the country are allowed up to 10,000 spectators in attendance, or 25% capacity - whichever figure is lower. "I can confirm today we have met the four tests for further easing lockdown restrictions,” Johnson said to the nation in his 5pm announcement. “We’ll unlock the turnstiles to our sports stadia, subject to capacity limits.” Despite the Prime Minister’s announcement, away fans will not be permitted in the final two rounds of fixtures.
