Bernd Leno reveals why Arsenal struggled in draw against Wolves

Arsenal goalkeeper Bernd Leno admits that north Londoners struggled to settle for a draw on Sunday against Wolves. The visitors took a surprise early lead at the Emirates but Arsenal scored a fortunate late equalizer due to Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s strike who came on as a substitute. Despite the positive result Arsenal goalkeeper Bernd Leno wasn’t content with the draw as well as their performance. "It was a hard game for us, in the first half we didn’t play our best and in the second half we had many chances and Wolverhampton had some chances as well,’ the German told the BBC. ‘They were very deep and had fast players for the counter attack so it was very difficult for us. "It was a difficult start because we conceded so it was easier for Wolverhampton to defend and they played on the counter so it was more difficult.’ Arsenal could extend their unbeaten run across all competitions in a 1-1 draw against Wolves and speaking about that run Leno said: "I think that is just a statistic, we wanted to win, we just drew and it is a disappointment. It’s most important for us to win the next game. ‘I think there was an injured player, he was on the floor for two or three minutes so maybe we could have got a few extra minutes but that was not the problem today."
