Benfica tell Arsenal they should pay £35 m for the left back
According to reports Arsenal are interested in signing Benfica defender Alejandro Grimaldo.Gunners will battle with Atletico Madrid, Manchester City, Juventus and Manchester United for 23-year-old left back.Arsenal and other candidates for Grimaldo have been told by Portuguese side they should pay at least £35 m if they want to sign the player. With Nacho Monreal close to exit from the club, Sead Kolasinac remains the only left back for Unai Emery and North London club’s coach would want to see a new player to have enough choices of rotation. As reported earlier, Arsenal could sell Mesut Ozil and Henrikh Mkhitaryan to have some money for investing in new players. And Grimaldo are among those new possible signings alongside with David Alaba from Bayern Munich and Kieran Tierney from Celtic (considering only left backs).
