Bundesliga club Bayern Munich have been interested in Chelsea’s wonderkid Callum Hudson-Odoi since his January transfer window.
They tried to sign him during the January transfer window and were amazed with the player’s form.
However, Hudson-Odoi suffered a ruptured achilles in the Blues' 2-2 draw with Burnley on Monday and went under the knife on Wednesday and now faces a period of rehabilitation to be ready for the start of next season.
Bayern Munich president Uli Hoeneß has given an update on his side's pursuit of Callum Hudson-Odoi after the winger's injury.
Th German club remain nterested but that injury will have a huge impact on what they are able to do in the summer, while Chelsea want to tie their young star down to a new contract after his amazing breakout season.
As reported by
BILD , Hoeneß said: "I think you're going to keep worrying about him. But at a stage when he's on the operating table right now, it doesn't make sense to make statements."
