Bayern Munich consider appointment of Ajax boss Erik ten Hag

Bayern Munich are reportedly considering the appointment of Ajax boss Erik ten Hag as a replacement for Niko Kovac. Kovac is nearing the end of his first season at Bayern Munich, however, the club wants to replace him. According to Marca, Ten Hag emerged as a target for the Bundesliga side. The 49-year-old coached Bayern Munich II from 6 June 2013 until 2015 Ten Hag is likely to receive formal offers should Ajax see Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool to lift the Champions League trophy in June.
