Barcelona are monitoring a La Liga center back

Ernesto Valverde is looking forward to strengthening his team as he is monitoring defender Jeison Murillo. The defender is currently playing for Valencia but will join Barcelona on a six-month loan deal until the end of the season, according to RAC1. Murillo didn't have a lot of playing time this season and the club are willing to listen to offers. There is also interest from Fenerbahce, but Murillo does not want to move to Turkey, writes SPORT. If Barcelona can make the deal happen, then the defender will cover Samuel Umtiti and Thomas Vermaelen as they both are injured.
