Spanish champions Barcelona are weighing up a move for Sevilla midfielder Steven N’Zonzi, reports the Daily Mirror.
The former Stoke City man has caught the eye during his time at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan and Barca would like him to provide back up for Sergio Busquets.
However, the Catalans look as though they’ve got their work cut out bringing the Frenchman to the Camp Nou, with Sevilla president Jose Castro adamant the 27-year-old is not leaving.
“I wouldn’t sell N’Zonzi for any money in the world,” he said.
“He is very good and we’re working on his new contract. We hope to be able to announce it very soon.”
