Barcelona consider selling Arsenal target
According to latest reports from RAC1, Barcelona consider selling Ousmane Dembele in January.
Dembele has joined Blaugrana in summer of 2017. He was injured for several months last season. This season Dembele started with several goals including the winner against Sevilla in Super Cup of Spain.
However, Dembele’s behavior and character are currently discussed by Barcelona players.
Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez reportedly are tired of disciplinary problems of Frenchman. Dembele was included in starting lineup against Inter Milan in Champions League, but failed to reach the team meeting before. Despite Ernesto Valverde’s claims, that the late arrival didn’t influence his decision, it was reported by Spanish media that Messi and Suarez were the initiators of the idea to leave Ousmane out of squad.
In case Barcelona find an appropriate offer, they might want to sell Dembele.
Arsenal were the most interested team in summer. Unai Emery wanted to complete a loan-deal for 21-year-old, however Gunners got rejected in summer. This time Barcelona could be less demanding than in summer, which means Arsenal might go for World Cup 2018 champion again.
