Atalanta boss Gian Piero Gasperini has broken his silence on the Tottenham manager link. The Atalanta boss has been linked with a move to London as a replacement to Jose Mourinho. In the immediate aftermath of Mourinho's dismissal, Spurs were reportedly keen on one of either RB Leipzig boss Julian Nagelsmann - who has since agreed to take over Bayern Munich at the end of the season, Ajax manager Erik ten Haag, who recently signed a contract extension tying him to the Dutch outfit until 2023. And now Gasperini has distanced himself from the Spurs vacancy, telling Sky Sports: "Tottenham? There's absolutely nothing, not even talks or contacts... I'm under contract with Atalanta and I'm so happy here." Atalanta have enjoyed an incredible season domestically, currently on course to finish second in Serie A, above the likes of heavyweights such as Juventus, Napoli and A.C. Milan.
