Arsene Wenger responds to reports linking him with Gennaro Gattuso’s replacement

Arsenal former head coach Arsene Wenger has been linked with a move to Serie A side Milan. The Italian club are by no means in trouble under Gattuso, with the side currently fourth in Serie A. But crucially they are ten points adrift of league leaders Juventus and already, seemingly, out of the running for the title. Wenger admitted last week that he was keen to return to management. Wenger said: "Certainly at the beginning of the year 2019 [I will return to management]. At the moment I have a good rest and watch football a lot. "I said many times maybe the best way is not to be in England because I spent so much time in the same club so it would seem odd to go somewhere else, but I don't know where I will be, I will be somewhere but I don't know where. I haven't decided yet." France Football reported that the former Arsenal boss had been in talks with the Italian giants for weeks however, Wenger has responded to those reports, calling them "fake news".
