Arsenal star has come under fire despite Player of the Month award

Arsenal star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who has been named Player of the Month for October, has come under fire following his side’s 1-1 draw against Wolves. The Gunners failed to put an impressive show but they could extend their unbeaten run to 16 matches due to Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s late equaliser. However, Aubameynag has faced criticism by supporters for his lack of involvement to the match. Particularly one fan slammed the Gabon international, claiming his performances had been less than par this season. “Aubameyang was absolutely shocking today, I don't know how he avoids criticism,” Lee Judges told AFTV. “I watched him for 15 minutes and I was moving more than him from my seat.” Before presenter Robbie Lyle revealed: “Maybe we don’t criticise him because normally he is good.” And Lee added: “No, apart from the Liverpool game, we’ve played better when he’s come off the bench.” But Robbie replied: “He just got player of the month.” “Yeah from the bench,” Lee explained. “He does not work up there, his hold up play is not good enough.”
