Arsenal to offer Matteo Guendouzi new contract

Arsenal are ready to offer a new deal to midfielder Matteo Guendouzi. The 20-year-old joined Gunners from Lorient last year. He has made 47 appearances for the club in all competitions and only missed five of 38 Premier League games. Guendouzi still has three years to run on his £40,000-a-week contract at the Emirates, but according to The Sun, Unai Emery’s side want to hand him a new contract will almost double his wages to  £75,000 a week. Arsenal finished in fifth position in the Premier League and will face Chelsea in the Europa League final on May 29.
