Arsenal make a €30m bid for a defender

Arsenal have shown an interest to sign Saint-Etienne centre-back William Saliba. According to Cannon Insider (as per Mohamed Bouhafsi) Arsenal have made an offer of €30m for William Saliba. The Gunners already have a contractual agreement with the player. Meanwhile, St Étienne are completely adamant that William Saliba has to be loaned back to them for the 19/20 season. Arsenal’s opening bid for the young defender is €25m + €5m in add-ons. The clubs met at the end of last week and are scheduled to meet again later this week.
