Arsenal given massive boost in securing Mario Lemina as Manchester United stop their interest in midfielder

Arsenal have been given a boost to secure the services of Southampton midfielder Mario Lemina, as Manchester United stop their interested in the Gabon international. Lemina was though to become Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s next signing and follow in Daniel James and Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s footsteps. But the Manchester Evening News claim United and Ed Woodward are not interested in the Gabon international which can be a boost for Arsenal who are also keen on signing the player. The midfielder hasn’t travelled with the rest of the squad to Austria for their pre-season as a transfer looks increasingly imminent. Lemina could leave the club for about £30million, according to reports. He has started 38 out of 76 Premier League matches for Southampton during his two seasons in England.
