Antonio Rudiger says his teammate not only among fastest at Chelsea but also stronger than him

Antonio Rudiger has shared his praise for Chelsea newcomer Romelu Lukaku, claiming the Belgium international is not only among the fastest players at Chelsea but also stronger than him. The 28-year-old rejoined the Blues from Inter Milan this summer on a record £97.5million deal. He has already managed to impress at Stamford Bridge, scoring his first goal of the season against Arsenal in the Premier League. “In terms of acceleration, I think there is a lot of players who are maybe faster than me,” Rudiger told Sky Sports when speaking about the fastest players at Chelsea. “But when we [hit top speed], I think I will go for myself or Romelu Lukaku.” The Germany international is also 100 per cent convinced that Lukaku is stronger than him. “I’ve known him [before he had joined Chelsea], he’s very calm. “You can have serious talks with him, you can joke with him. “You can see he has grown as a person. There is a lot of confidence — not arrogance, but good confidence.”
