Fabrizio Romano has provided a contract update on Manchester City duo Ederson and Raheem Sterling.
The sports journalist says that the City goalkeeper will be the next player to sign a new deal. Meanwhile, the club are also planning talks with Sterling. The latter has been heavily linked with the move away from Etihad this summer.
“No way, Raheem Sterling is staying, they wanted to sell Sterling to find a solution for him and to sign Cristiano Ronaldo, but they want to discuss his contract in the coming weeks,” Romano said when speaking about the England international.
On other transfer plans, the journalist added:
“Bernardo Silva, let’s see if the right bid arrives in the coming hours, if not he will stay. A new striker, I don’t know, they don’t want to do any panic buy. Congrats for extending the contract of Ruben Dias until 2027, the next one will be Ederson, that will be announced soon.”
