Amir Khan's advice for Anthony Joshua ahead of Andy Ruiz Jr rematch

Amir Khan has warned Anthony Joshua not to be pulled from pillar to post by Saudi Arabia’s promotional campaign. Former IBF, IBO, WBA, WBO heavyweight champion lost his belts at Madison Square Garden in New York City in the summer and is getting ready for their rematch. The country has spent a reported £33million and erected a purpose-build 15.000-capacity for the second meeting between the rivals. "When I went there everything seemed so normal and very chilled," he told Mirror Fighting. "Women could do what they wanted; I took my wife with me and she was treated like she would be in Dubai. I believe it's been blown out of proportion. It is different when you fight there, it's not like the UK when you have fans drinking and singing - the crowd will be a little different. It's a different experience, it's totally different to fighting in Vegas or at Madison Square Garden; it is special in its own way." Khan added: "Saudi want to promote their country and Joshua needs to be careful on that side of things, they might want to use him for that too much because they’re paying big money. When I went there they wanted to maximise my name and use me to be here, there and everywhere. Straight after training, they were telling me where I had to be and I had to stand up for myself." The rematch will take place on Saturday, December 7. Source- The Mirror
