It's time to play: Alexis Sanchez warned he has no excuses at Manchester United following Mourinho’s sacking

Jamie Redknapp is looking forward to see Alexis Sanchez in his best form and has best wishes for the Chilean, however, he has warned that the striker has no excuses for poor performances. Sanchez has failed to replicate the form he showed at Arsenal during his time at Old Trafford with one goal so far this season. However, he struggles could come to an end as head coach Jose Mourinho has been sacked and now he is free to nail down to starting  XI under new interim coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. “I’m looking forward to seeing how Alexis Sanchez responds to the change of manager at Manchester United,” Redknapp wrote for the Daily Mail. “He has been far from his best since arriving in January but now the shackles are off, there are no excuses.” United made a perfect start to his reign as United boss with a 5-1 voctory over Cardiff on Saturday. However, the Chilean will have to wait to make his Manchester United return under new boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, with the 30-year-old sidelined until the New Year.
