Alexandre Lacazette reveals part Liverpool played in Europa League success

Arsenal reached the final of the Europa League to a 7-3 aggregate victory over Valencia. Hat-trick from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and another goal from Alexandre Lacazette secured a spot in the Europa League final where they will face Chelsea. Meanwhile, Liverpool will take on Tottenham Hotspur in the Champions League final on 1 June at the Estadio Metropolitano in north-east Madrid, Spain. For the first time ever both the Europa League final and the Champions League final will be all-English encounters. Lacazette says they were inspired by Liverpool and Tottenham. Lacazette said: “We are really happy and proud. We knew in the Premier League we played bad in the last month so we know it was a great opportunity to go to the Champions League but as well it is about trophies. The club needs to win a trophy, the players as well. “We saw Liverpool and Tottenham were really, really happy. The English teams played really well on Tuesday and Wednesday and they deserve the qualification. We wanted to do the same. “Getting four English teams into the final means there is a great level in England. A long time before Liverpool, there were not a lot of clubs in the semi-finals and finals but we want to show there is not only Liverpool, there is also Arsenal
