Alan Shearer has raved about Richarlison, claiming the Tottenham star has been "amazing" with Brazil so far in the World Cup.
Richarlison is currently on international duty with his South American team. They have reached the quarter-finals, with the attacker scoring three goals during the top tournament.
Amid the player's latest performances, there have been suggestions that his role may change at Tottenham after the World Cup. However, Shearer still believes the Brazilian will find it difficult to get into the team due to the presence of Harry Kane.
“He hasn’t started a lot for Spurs, either. It will be difficult for him there as a 9 because of Harry Kane. But he’s been amazing for Brazil, not just in the tournament, but leading up to it, too. Like England, Brazil have great options,” the pundit wrote in a Q&A for The Athletic, via HITC.
