Alan Shearer has praised Manchester City's Rodri for his "immense" display against Chelsea yesterday. The Citizens celebrated a 1 - 0 victory over the Blues, with Gabriel Jesus scoring the winning goal for his side. Former Newcastle United star was especially impressed by Rodri's performance at Stamford Bridge. “Rodri I thought was immense in giving the protection when it needed to be,” he said on Match of the Day on BBC One. After the game versus Thomas Tuchel's side, City are sitting in 2nd place in the league table, with Liverpool leading the race.
