5 Leicester City players whose values have been affected most during lockdown

As known, all sporting events around the globe, including Premier League matches, have been suspended due to coronavirus pandemic. During this lockdown the transfer values of many football players have changed, as it is not clear yet when the season is resumed or when summer transfer window is opened. Recently, Transfermarkt has updated the transfer values of football players, and here is the list of the five Leicester City players, whose market values have been affected the most during the Premier League suspension. Caglar Soyuncu, €32m Getty Images The 23-year-old centre-back has reportedly attracted interest from Manchester City, with his former value being €40m. However, currently his price has dropped up to 20%. Soyuncu's contract at the King Power Stadium is valid until 2023, and this season the Turkey international has made 35 appearances, even netted once and provided an assist. Ben Chilwell, €40m Getty Images Chilwell, whose previous price was €50m, alike his team-mate Caglar Soyuncu, has a 20% drop in his market value. The 23-year-old has featured in 23 matches for the Brendan Rodgers' side this season, even has scored two goals and assisted four times. The left-back has reportedly been linked with a move to Chelsea, despite his deal at Leicester expires only in 2024. Ricardo Pereira, €32m Getty Images Pereira has a 20% drop in his transfer price as well, as his previous value was €40m. The 26-year-old right-back is contracted with the Foxes until 2023, and this season has made 33 appearances, with four goals and three assists. Pereira is currently injured with a cruciate ligament and is expected to be fit again in August. Wilfred Ndidi, €36m Getty Images Leicester's midfielder was peviously valued at €40m, however, Premier League suspension caused a price drop. Ndidi has featured in 29 clashes for the Foxes, has scored two goals and assisted once. The 23-year-old's contract at the King Power Stadium is set to expire in the summer of 2024. James Maddison, €48m Getty Images Maddison has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester United, with his previous value being at €60m. The 23-year-old midfielder is contracted with the club until 2023, and this term he has featured in 35 games for Leicester, having scored nine times and provided 3 assists.
