£27m winger withdrawn from matchday squad despite training all week amid Liverpool links

Jarrod Bowen was withdrawn from West Ham United’s squad to face Brentford after it was reported that Liverpool are targeting him. According to The Athletic, the Reds have included Bowen on their transfer shortlist to provide depth for the likes of Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah. The 24-year-old, who is worth £27million, had a decent 2020/21 season, scoring 8 goals and assisting 6 times. And amid Liverpool links, Bowen misses from the Hammers' matchday squad.
