Just like their seniors, Arsenal u23 have started their pre-season matches too.
On Tuesday night, the youngsters played against Bromley FC and lost with a score of 3-1.
Since Arsenal u23 kicked off the pre-season with a delay due to Covid disruption at London Colney, Bromley looked physically sharper than their opponents, as they have already played a few weeks of games.
Despite the defeat, there were some encouraging signs in the Gunners' play.
Amario Cozier-Duberry was the player, that got Arsenal back into the game after conceding 3 in a row.
The 16-year-old scored into the bottom corner by picking up the ball on the edge of the box from a tackle assist by Davis.
Although Davis had another late chance, he couldn’t find the far post, and neither Richards who was waiting for a tap-in.
Arsenal were playing well for the rest of the second half, but they lost the match 3-1.
