Ronaldinho believes Gabriel Jesus can succeed Messi

Brazil legend Ronaldinho has backed Manchester City forward Gabriel Jesus to succeed Lionel Messi and Neymar as the world's best player. The 19-year-old has already usurped Sergio Aguero in the City pecking order under Pep Guardiola, scoring three goals in three starts since arriving at the Etihad Stadium in January. Former Ballon d'Or winner Ronaldinho believes his compatriot can go on to even greater things, though, eventually taking over from Barcelona stars Messi and Neymar. "Manchester City have a very special player with Gabriel Jesus," Ronaldinho said, is quoted by the Daily Mirror. "Maybe even, in the future, the best player in the world. "At the moment it is Messi. I have always said I think one day it will be Neymar. But at 19, in the future, it can be Gabriel. He has all the abilities to make that happen."

Atletico Madrid make dramatic comeback against Celta Vigo

Barcelona see Bosingwa as interim solution

Barcelona have turned their eyes to former Chelsea and Queens Park Rangers' man Jose Bosingwa. They see him as a possible replacement to Aleix Vidal. Vidal has picked up a serious ankle injury in the game against Alaves, which will see him missing the remaining part of the season. According to La Liga rules, Barcelona are allowed to sign a new player who is either currently playing in Primera or is a free agent. Bosingwa doesn't have any club now and can sign for the Catalan side. Moreover, his salary demands are not so high which will make the process easier.

Mourinho believes in De Gea United stay

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho does not expect any underhand tactics from his "friends" at Real Madrid amid growing talk of a summer move for David de Gea. Real Madrid president Florentino Perez this week said "someone is messing around" when quizzed about the current speculation and Mourinho does not expect those at the club he managed for three years to resort to skulduggery. "With Mr Perez and his right arm Jose Angel Sanchez, they are some of the people in football that I can say that I didn't work for them and it is over," the United boss, in charge at the Bernabeu from 2010-2013, said.

Aleix Vidal out for 5 months

Barcelona defender Aleix Vidal has suffered a huge injury blow during his team's visit to Alava where they beat their Copa del Rey final rivals Alaves with 6 goals to 0. In the end of the game, Vidal was left with a broken ankle after the collision with Theo. It was already obvious on the screen, and later medical tests confirmed the worst. The player has already undergone a surgery in one of the Barcelona hospitals. It's expected, that Vidal will miss at least 5 months. This means, that Barcelona are now allowed to sign a new player to replace Vidal. The new signing should be a free agent or a player from La Liga teams.

Sergio Ramos and Nacho reach 500 & 100 game mark respectively

Two of Real Madrid players were celebrating important achievements yesterday at El Sadar stadium against Osasuna. Sergio Ramos was playing his 500th game for Real Madrid. Sarri: We have to believe in ourselves against Madrid
