Manchester United are ready to bid for Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos. According to The Sun, the Premier League side had the 2014 World Cup winner in their grasp in 2013/14 but Kroos opted for a move to Real Madrid instead. Nevertheless, the Red Devils head coach Jose Mourinho is ready to try and sign the 27-year-old Germany international again as the 54-year-old specialist looks to build his team again for next season. The move for ex-Bayern Munich midfielder comes as doubts continue to surface over Antoine Griezmann's £100million move to Old Trafford. The Atletico Madrid playmaker has been scouted by United scouts, however, the 25-year-old striker is waiting to see if they make it into the Champions League next season.

Atletico Madrid are open to offers for Kevin Gameiro this summer, according to the Daily Mirror, potentially solving Tottenham's strike problem. The striker only joined Atleti in the summer after a £35m move from Sevilla, but has struggled to make an impact and challenge first choice forward Antoine Griezmann. He did, however, score the fastest La Liga hat-trick in 22 years on Saturday.
Dani Alves opens up reasons of his Barcelona departure
Juventus right-back Daniel Alves has spoken to the Spanish newspaper ABC, revealing some shocking details of his Barcelona career and the reasons of leaving the club. "I like it when people love me. If they don't want me to be with them, I am leaving. It was a big lesson for me when I left Barcelona as a free agent. During my last year at the club I was just hearing that "Alves is going to leave". However, the directors didn't talk to me. They were wrong and disrespectful to me. They didn't respect me at all. They offered me a new contract only after FIFA transfer ban was imposed. It was then when I signed that new deal. Barcelona's current leaders don't understand how to treat their players," Alves said.
Iniesta reaches 400 game mark in La Liga
Barcelona earned a hard-fought victory against Leganes in the 23rd round match in La Liga. Barcelona captain Andres Iniesta, by his side, reached a notable mark in the Spanish league as he played his 400th game. The 32-year-old midfielder made his professional debut in La Liga for Barcelona in 2002. Since then, Iniesta spent 15 seasons at Barcelona and played 288 games as a starter, 191 of which he finished without a substitution. In his 400 La Liga matches, Iniesta helped Barcelona to earn 280 victories, draw 74 matches and only for 45 occasions they lost. To recall, Iniesta current contract with Barcelona expires in June, 2018, but the club is ready to offer a new deal to the playmaker.
Real Madrid join Dembele race
Real Madrid have joined the battle to sign Celtic hot shot Moussa Dembele, according to the Daily Mirror. The Spanish giants have been checking on the 20-year-old striker and have been asked to be kept informed of any movements. Their scouts have also made a visit to Scotland to watch Dembele's game. Celtic had hoped to keep Dembele for another 12 months at least but his incredible progress under Brendan Rodgers means there will be a bidding war this summer, with Bayern Munich also keen. Real Madrid are hoping they will be able to lure him to Spain while it will be an incredible deal for Celtic who nicked him for just £300,000 compensation.
David Villa sent off after VAR call
New-York City striker David Villa has been sent off the pitch during the game against Houston Dynamo. In the ending of the game, the Spanish forward was shown a red card after kicking the opponent with his arm. The referee showed him a yellow card first, but then he watched the replay after Video Assistant Referee call and decided to dismiss Villa.

Los Blancos have set a new club record, as they have scored in the 42nd consecutive match in all competitions. Zinedine Zidane's men left the pitch without scoring a goal on April 26, 2016 last time, when they played a goalless draw against Manchester City in the second leg of Champions league semi-final. After that match, Real Madrid scored 113 goals in 42 matches. The all-time Spanish record belongs to Barcelona which scored in 44 consecutive matches during the seasons 1942/43 and 1943/44.
Man Utd back to Kroos option
Manchester United are keen to sign Toni Kroos from Real Madrid this summer, according to The Independent. Former United boss David Moyes came close to bringing Kroos to Old Trafford before the Germany international opted for Real Madrid. The Premier League side will reportedly try again - as well as going for Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann - but Real consider Kroos close to “unsellable". However, it will not be an easy job for the Red Devils to tempt the Real Madrid N8 as the German is one of the cornerstone players in Zinedine Zidane's team and has constant playing time there.
