Roma keen on permanent Szczesny deal

Roma are eyeing Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny. According to, Roma are keen on signing Szczesny on a permanent deal. The report suggests the Serie A club are willing to pay 16m euros to land the Poland international, who is currently on loan at the Stadio Olimpico.

Roma chase Chelsea youngster

Roma are interested in signing Chelsea midfielder Charly Musondaon a short-term loan deal in January, according to Sky sources. The Italian club want a replacement for former Chelsea star Mo Saleh, who will be away at the African Cup of Nations in January with Egypt. They see Musonda as a like-for-like replacement for Saleh. Musonda has been on loan at Real Betis this season but struggled for form and fitness and started just once under the then-boss Gus Poyet.

Roma permanently sign Tottenham defender

Roma have signed permanently Tottenham fullback Federico Fazio. The fullback arrived over the summer on loan for €1.2m with an option to buy pending certain “sporting situations." According to La Repubblica, the 29-year-old defender is now a Roma player, as he's made enough appearances to activate the €3.2m transfer clause. Fazio has made 22 competitive appearances for Roma during this season.  

Roma want to sign Manchester City winger

Roma have made an attempt for Manchester City attacking midfielder Jesus Navas. Due to his contract winding down, it's understood that Navas can be tempted away from City next month. Roma made an approach to City for Navas. However, according to Leggo,  Manchester City head coach Pep Guardiola has no interest in losing the 31-year-old in midseason.  

Szczesny is happy with the competition from Alisson

Roma goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny is happy with the competition from Alisson. “I think he's doing well with us. He's a great goalkeeper with great potential, as I've seen in training. “He's a starter for the national team, and I think he'll have a great future at Roma. I think he's ready for a starting spot, he just has to be patient and continue to work. “He'll be the starter one day."  

Buffon is full of praise for Dzeko

Juventus captain Gianluigi Buffon is full of praise for Roma striker Edin Dzeko. “At the moment, he's the most dangerous striker," Buffon told Sky Italia. “He's adapted very well to Luciano Spalletti's plans and has understood them perfectly, and you can see the results of that. He's probably just a player who needed time. “In the end, leave aside the present Dzeko and he still has a very good record which speaks in his favour. “To think that he had all of a sudden become a mediocre player sounds a bit stupid."  

Fabregas won’t join Serie A giants

Despite reports in the Mirror claiming Roma want to sign Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas in January, with the Serie A club even prepared to include both Antonio Rudiger or Radja Nainggolan as part of the deal, this is believed not to be the case. According to Sky Italy, no discussions have taken place between the Romans and the Spain international, while both Rudiger and Nainggolan will remain at the Stadio Olimpico in the winter transfer window.

Roma want Chelsea midfielder

Roma want to take Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas on a six-month loan deal in January, reports Il Tempo. However, despite Blues boss Antonio Conte insisting his player will not be leaving Stamford Bridge in the new year, the Rome-based daily says Chelsea may let Fabregas move to the Italian capital if that then gives them first option on Roma duo Radja Nainggolan and Antonio Rudiger.

Roma eye PSG attacker

Roma are eyeing PSG forward Jese. Ex-Real Madrid striker moved to Paris last summer, but he's struggled to make an impact. According to Centro Suono Sport, his situation has caught the eye of Roma. However, Jese's agent Deugines Carvajal said: "I don't have any information about this news. I repeat only that I can not say anything about it because I have not heard about this possibility."
