Marseille plan big summer investments
Marseille president Jacques-Henri Eyraud says the club intends to invest heavily in new talent. The Ligue 1 side have already signed Dimitri Payet from West Ham United in January for a 29.3 m euro fee and Patrice Evra from Juventus on a free transfer since Frank McCourt bought the club in October. "Our main objective is the summer transfer market," said Eyraud when asked about the future plans. "It will give us the opportunity to complete our strengthening of the team ahead of our first full season in control of the club." Marseille are currently the 7th in Ligue 1 being 20 points away from the Champions League zone.
Marquinhos in talks with PSG to extend contract
PSG defender Marquinhos has confirmed that he is in talks over extending his contract at the club. The Brazilian is regarded as one of the finest young defenders in Europe and has been frequently linked with a move to Barcelona during his time in the French capital. His current deal at PSG expires in 2019 and he has revealed that he is looking to extend his stay in Paris. Speaking at a press conference about his contractual situation, he said: “We are speaking with the club to extend the relationship, but we have not yet reached an agreement. I hope that it can happen.”
Arsenal eye Paris Saint-Germain defender
Premier League giants Arsenal are interested in Paris Saint-Germain full-back Layvin Kurzawa, according to sources in France. The Gunners are considering bolstering their options down the left flank and Layvin Kurzawa, who joined the Ligue 1 champions from Monaco back in 2015, is viewed as a potential option. He would cost around €20 m (£17 m) should they decide to firm up their interest, though PSG are not really interested in selling one of their key players. Arsenal will activate their attempts of signing him in the coming summer and in the case of successful negotiations, they will sign him on a permanent basis.
PSG fullback on Arsenal radar
Arsenal are tracking PSG fullback Layvin Kurzawa. Arsenal are in need of a new left-back to replace the ageing Nacho Monreal and out-of-favour Kieran Gibbs. Sportmediaset says the Gunners have set their sights on Paris Saint-Germain's Kurzawa. Arsenal will forge ahead with a move for the Frenchman, despite the uncertainty surrounding Arsene Wenger's future. The Premier League side are said to be weighing up an offer in the region of £17million for the 24-year-old.
Valencia fullback on PSG radar
PSG are eyeing Valencia fullback Jose Luis Gaya. According to RadioEsport, the Paris club have posted scout Sylvain N'Diaye to watch Gaya in recent weeks. PSG chief Patrick Kluivert is in the market for a new defender as veteran Maxwell will leave when his contract expires in June. The La Liga side will be reluctant to sell Gaya, particularly after losing Paco Alcacer in August, nevertheless PSG do have the spending power to tempt Los Che into a sale. Luis Gaya has made 21 appearances during this season.

Marquinhos is ready to commit his future to PSG
According to Yahoo Sport, Marquinhos is set to sign a new contract to 2021 with the Parisian club. The 22-year-old defender was a summer target for Barcelona and his decision to remain at the side who thumped them 4-0 in the Champions League will no doubt add insult to injury for the Catalans. The Brazilian joined for £26m from Roma in 2013 and also attracted interest from Chelsea. To recall, Marquinhos has made 30 appearances during this season.

Paul Pogba and his elder brother Florentin Pogba faced each other, and the younger one accepts the experience to be exciting. Busquets not optimistic about PSG tie outcome
Barcelona midfielder Sergio Busquets is not optimistic about their future in Champions League. The Spanish international spoke to the media after their harsh defeat against PSG in the first leg match of the Champions league round of 16. "PSG were the better side. The result may be hard to accept, but this is football.
