Liverpool want to sign Fran Navarro

Liverpool are eyeing Valencia teen Fran Navarro. The Reds head coach Jurgen Klopp, reportedly, wants to sign him and could make a move in January. Real Madrid also monitoring his situation.  

Liverpool want to sign Moussa Dembele

According to The Sun, Liverpool have prepared a £20m bid for Celtic striker Moussa Dembele in January. The report suggests the Premier League side will offer £10m up front for the player with the same figure added depending on appearances and success. Dembele has scored 17 goals for Celtic this season.

Liverpool and Leeds pay tribute to Chapecoense

Liverpool and Leeds United were meeting in EFL cup quarter-finals. Both teams and the fans paid tribute to the victims of aircraft crash in Madeline. A plane carrying 81 people, including Brazilian side Chapecoense suffered an accident in Colombia. 75 passengers were found dead and only 5 have survived. Paul Merson: “Liverpool will win the league if they sign Southampton defender”

Arsenal ex-forward Paul Merson has said, Liverpool will win the league if they sign Southampton fullback Virgil van Dijk. "For me, I think if Liverpool get together and go and buy Van Dijk for £50 million in January, they will take some beating," he told SPORT. “They've got the firepower going forward, I just don't think they've got it at the back. “I know they've done it this season so far, but defensively they aren't going to be good enough against the big teams. “But if they can go out and get Van Dijk, I think £50 million, that nearly wins you the Premier League."  

Liverpool midfielder has no regrets leaving Bayern

Liverpool midfielder Emre Can has no regrets leaving Bayern Munich. "I was very realistic," Can told Sky Sports. "It was very important for me at that time that I play. I felt that I was not getting much game time and so I moved to Bayer Leverkusen. I think it was the right way because I played a lot of games there. 'Then the offer from Liverpool came." Can has made 101 appearances in all competitions for Liverpool.

Liverpool defender on Serie A club radars

According to the Daily Mirror, Inter Milan and AC Milan want to sign Liverpool defender Mamadou Sakho. West Brom, reportedly, will also battle to land France international in January. Sakho is yet to feature for Liverpool this season.

Official: Steven Gerrard retires from professional football

Former Liverpool and England captain Steven Gerrard has announced his retirement from professional football. Gerrard was linked with the MK Dons job after leaving LA Galaxy but said it came too soon. Here are a few words from his retirement statement: "Following recent media speculation surrounding my future I can confirm my retirement from playing professional football. "I have had an incredible career and am thankful for each and every moment of my time at Liverpool, England and LA Galaxy. "I feel lucky to have experienced so many wonderful highlights over the course of my career. I am proud to have played over 700 games for Liverpool, many of which as captain, and to have played my part in helping the club to bring major honours back to Anfield, none more so than that famous night in Istanbul. "At an international level, I feel privileged to have won 114 England caps and to have had the honour of captaining my country. I will always look back with great pride at every time I pulled on the England shirt."
