Joel Latibeaudiere is ready for City chance
oung defender Joel Latibeaudiere says he is ready to play for the Manchester City first team after his loan spell at FC Twente in the Netherlands. He told TalkSport : “100 per cent, just because of the chances you get out there. In Holland, the league isn’t as physical as the Premier League or the Championship, so I feel like the younger players get more of a chance. “I would recommend going out there and playing football. You’re [also] learning a totally new style of European football; if you’re playing for the best teams, you’re going to be playing in Europe anyway, so you’ve already had that experience of European football and a brand new style.” And now he’s set to head back to Manchester and vie for a first-team place. “Now I’ve got a taste for it, it’s given me that motivation to know that I can do it myself,” he added. “I’m just going to keep pushing myself now and try and get there.”
