Bayer Leverkusen striker close to join Bayern Munich
According to Bild, Bayern Munich have agreed a lucrative deal to sign Bayer Leverkusen forward Julian Brandt. The 20-year old is being tracked by clubs across Europe, including Liverpool and Manchester City. Bayern Munich, however, have agreed a €30m deal with Leverkusen to sign the star. Bild say the deal could happen this summer, or in 2018, the year in which he reportedly has a release-clause of just €12.5m
Wenger planning for next season
A clue to Arsene Wenger's intentions? He insists he is planning for next season despite continued uncertainty over his future at Arsenal. "Yes, of course I am planning for next season," he said. "Do I stay two months or 10 years? I plan. I do my job exactly the same. Of course you can do that. "Of course [transfer targets will ask if I will be at the club], but we are always honest. Arsenal is a world brand today, respected all over the world. "The Arsenal name is bigger than my name and coming to Arsenal is more important - you don't come to Arsene Wenger, you come to Arsenal."
Enrique: Messi will always be under pressure
Barcelona manager Luis Enrique commented on FIFA ban Lionel Messi received for the international matches in Argentina national team. "I have seen Messi at his best. I let him miss the training after the international matches, where he received the suspension, but he was there to train anyway," Enrique told his press conference. "I will not argue about FIFA's decision. I can only say that Lionel Messi is the best player in the world and will always be under pressure," the manager concluded. Lionel Messi has been suspended by FIFA for four international matches because of the disrespectful speech to one of the assistant referees during the clash against Chile (1-0). He will also miss Barcelona home clash against Granada, as he is suspended due to the excess of yellow cards.

Chelsea scouts will be in Genoa tomorrow to watch Atalanta pair Franck Kessie and Andrea Conti, according to Corriere dello Sport. The former has emerged as a target for a number of clubs - and is repeatedly labelled 'the new Yaya Toure'. Atalanta play a 3-4-3 formation similar to Chelsea's and while right wing-back Conti has not received the same attention as his team-mate, he is solid defensively.
Allegri: Napoli fans will show great civility
Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri is hopeful Napoli fans will not show uncivilized attitude towards Gonzalo Higuain. “This will be a clash between first and third. I am fully convinced the Napoli fans will be there to support their team and set an example of great civility and fair play," Allegri told hiss press conference. "That’s what it ought to be and we shouldn’t even be discussing this. This is a game that will be watched all over the world and we want it to be an example of enthusiasm and fair play both on and off the field," the manager finalized. Gonzalo Higuain has moved to Juventus from Napoli right before the start of the season and has earned the disrespect of Napoli fans. It has been previously reported that Juventus have set stronger security for the Argentinian forward.
Enrique: My opinion is more radical than Pique’s
Barcelona manager Luis Enrique commented on his team defender Gerard Pique's announcement about Real Madrid officials using their position in the club's advantage. "I don't think my opinion matters. In any case, players like Pique should exist," Enrique told his press conference. "He respects others' opinions and is demanding respect towards himself, too. "To be honest, I have even more radical opinion than pique. That is exactly why I should probably keep silent," the manager finalized. Mata sidelined for undefined period
Manchester United midfielder Juan Mata has undergone a surgery and will be out for an undefined period of time, the Club's official website confirms. Earlier the Club informed about the groin injury the player picked up and about the surgery he had to have. "Juan has had surgery for a groin injury. Further updates on his recovery will follow in due course," read the Club's official statement published on Friday. In the sidelined list Phil Jones, Chris Smalling and Paul Pogba are also named. Ander Herrera and Zlatan Ibrahimovic are both suspended and will have to miss the Saturday clash against West Bromwich. Juan Mata has featured in 38 games in all competitions of the current season, having netted 10 times and assisted six goals.
Casillas: “Whistling becomes part of Santiago Bernabeu”
Porto goalkeeper Iker Casillas is surprised with the whistling Real Madrid goalkeeper Keylor Navas receives at his home stadium. "It is incredible that Navas isn't considered among the top three keepers in last season's Champions League," Casillas told Marca. Chelsea may have a groundshare with West Ham
Chelsea will have to use another ground as their home stadium during the period of Stamford Bridge reconstruction, The Times informs. The Blues have already contacted West Ham United offering a temporary groundshare at the Olympic Stadium, however, no official confirmation has been received yet. Among other alternatives are the Twickenham Stadium, Emirates stadium and Tottenham new stadium. The first alternative has been ruled out as the Rugby Union did not let often football matches on the ground. Emirates stadium has limitations on the number of sport event it can hold per week. As regards Tottenham new stadium, they are unlikely to share it during their first season on the new ground. Important to note that Chelsea prefer to temporarily switch to Wembley, however, there is a small chance FA will let them in for weekly usage.
Wenger plans for next season with Arsenal
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger commented on his working plans at Arsenal, as his contract expires by the end of the season and no new deal has been confirmed yet. "I plan for next season," Wenger told his press conference ahead of the Sunday clash against Manchester City. "That's why I told you, do I stay for two months or 10 years, I plan for [the future]. I do my job exactly the same." To comment on transfer opportunities, the manager was confident Arsenal are capable of signing big names. "I think Arsenal is a world brand today that is respected all over the world. And the Arsenal name is bigger than my name. "And coming to Arsenal is more important. You don't come to Arsene Wenger you come to Arsenal," the manager concluded.
